A 16-year-old Bahraini girl who was reported missing in Cairo on Tuesday has been found and is now with her family.

However, the family’s lawyer refused to give details about where and how she was found, saying that it was a private matter. He thanked the Bahraini and Egyptian authorities for their assistance.

The girl’s father sounded the alarm about her disappearance under mysterious circumstances after she failed to return home on Tuesday evening when she said she was going to visit friends a few metres away from where her family was vacationing in the Egyptian capital.

The happy denouement is similar to that of the disappearance drama of a Kuwaiti teenager who was vacationing with her family in Florida. She was eventually found by the US police and reunited with her family.
