Four cross-dressers have been arrested in two separate cases in Kuwait for breaking public decency rules.

Police arrested three cross-dressers after their behaviour resulted in traffic chaos on Restaurants Street in Kuwait City.

According to Kuwaiti daily Arab Times, security officers investigating chaos on the street found a car with three women inside surrounded by several vehicles.

In the document identification procedures, they discovered that the three were actually men clad in women’s clothes. The cross-dressers were referred to the competent security department for the necessary legal action, the daily said.

The fourth cross-dresser was arrested after Capital securitymen noticed the odd behaviour of a ‘girl’ in the Bneid Al Gar area.

The subsequent investigation revealed that the “suspicious-looking” individual was a man wearing women’s clothes.

Homosexuality and cross-dressing are treated as crimes and signs of immorality are not allowed.
