Hamad Al Ali poised to be Kuwait’s next information minister

Shaikh Hamad Jaber Al Ali will be Kuwait’s next information minister, a Kuwaiti news portal said. Shaikh Hamad, Kuwait’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia, is expected to be sworn in in front of the Emir Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmad before taking the oath in front of the parliament, Al Aan reported late on Monday.

Iran has arrested two Kuwaiti citizens on spying charges, a local news agency said. “The two Kuwaiti nationals were fully equipped with spying devices,” Bahram Ilkhas-zadeh, the Governor of the Southwestern City of Abadan, said, quoted by Fars News Agency (FNA). “The two have been arrested by the Iranian intelligence ministry forces in Abadan.”
