Nato tells Russia not to waste money against non-existent enemy

Nato’s chief on Wednesday advised Russia not to waste its money on countering “an artificial enemy that does not exist”. The remark by Anders Fogh Rasmussen ahead of a two-day meeting of the alliance foreign ministers in Brussels sought to assuage Russian concerns about Nato’s ballistic missile defense system to be deployed in Europe.

Bahrain corrects claim it found explosives at airport

Bahrain’s interior ministry on Wednesday evening revised a report it issued earlier that it found a package containing explosives at the airport. “The laboratory test proved that there were no explosives in the package, but the material could be used to make explosive devices,” the ministry said on its Twitter account.

Nato denies reports it is charging Libya for operations

Bahrain grants citizenship to 335 children
