Kuwait court to consider election results in March

Kuwait’s Constitutional Court will start on March 13 looking into challenges to the results of the parliamentary elections. Candidates and voters in the First, Second, Third and Fourth constituencies had challenged the results of the elections held on February 2 to elect 50 members to the parliament. Palestinian officials urge controversial fatwa’s reversal

The Palestinian ambassador to Bahrain has rejected a controversial fatwa (religious edict) that prohibits non-Palestinians from visiting Palestine. “Arabs and Muslims should not equate prisoners with jailers,” Taha Mohammad Abdul Qadir said, referring to Palestinians and Israelis. “Visiting Palestine does not mean in any way normalising ties with the occupiers,” he said.
