Three years in prison for disrespecting Kuwait flag, national anthem

People who fail to respect the Kuwaiti flag will be sent to prison for up to three years under a proposal submitted by a Kuwaiti lawmaker. MP Nabeel Al Fadhel said that he wanted to amend a 1960 law and introduce stiffer penalties for those who disrespect the flag or the national anthem.

Six Tunisians killed in Syria

Six Tunisians who have reportedly joined the Syrian resistance were killed last week, a Tunisian daily reported. Kuwait seeks Arabsat action on ‘antagonistic’ channels
