Kuwait travel ban hits traffic fine defaulters

Around 100,000 Kuwaitis and expatriates in Kuwait will be banned from leaving the country after the New Year. The decision not to allow them to travel is attributed to non-payment of fines related to traffic, commerce or municipality offences, Kuwaiti Arabic daily Al Jareeda reported.

Media authority to be set up in Bahrain

Four suspects in police custody for dentist’s murder

Two Iraqi brothers involved in a crime that had shocked Kuwait to the core last week have surrendered, the police said.
